How Great Is Our God!

The amazing imprint of God! The science of glycobiology is alive and well! No wonder we see such amazing results with the glyconutritional products!

Homeschool Market Day!

We went to a homeschool Market Day! Baylee and I decided what to "sell" and brought a table and some chairs. It was really fun! Baylee and Bryce bought some homemade playdough with sparkles for 25cents per ball.

Breanna was mesmerized by the bubble machine! She must have watched that thing for a full 20 minutes...getting wet and soapy all the while.

We had a burrito potluck with homemade tortillas and watermelon!

Some kids sold cookies, cupcakes and other goodies!

Watermelon! YUM!

Rogue Valley Balloon Festival!

We went to the Rogue Vally Balloon Festival! The kids just love this and look forward to seeing all the hot air balloons in the sky! The Noah's Ark balloon was the favorite :)

There were 16 hot air balloons being launched that morning!

After we saw all the balloons launch, we went balloon chasing to see where a few of them landed!

Wildlife Safari Zoo Day!

The 2 male lions were born at the Wildlife Safari.
We went to on a fieldtrip to the Wildlife Safari in Winston, OR! We had about 5 families come with their children. We had a great time taking the Safari tour by bus, learning about camels and getting to take a ride on one! and then going to zoo school to see big snakes, a big turtle, a ferret, a bearded dragon lizard and even a 3 year old alligator!

The hippos were funny! They spend most of their time under water.

They had 3 elephants!

When we were in the Lion, Bear and Tiger areas, we had to put up our windows for safety.

3 year old Grizzly bears

2 hump camels (don't ask me what kind of camels they were...he,he)

This Giraffe walked right past our bus! The kids just loved that!

We heard a talk about camels. The hump does not store water...it stores fat for when they go for long periods of time without eating in the desert.

Baylee was very attentive and Bryce kept wanting to climb on the gate!

Just when I needed my camera the most, the batteries died and then the memory card got full! Figures...he, he This is the only picture of Baylee riding the camel with Cora in front. I got Bryce on video.

The Pink Flamingos were really cool!

Behind us is Taini, the famous cheetah mascot! She has quite the lush home of groomed grass, flowers, food whenever she wants and people visiting her right by the front gate!

We liked the Zebras too! In this photo, you can see baby zebra about 1 month old.

Boatnik Parade Fun!

We went down to the Boatnik Parade on Saturday morning! We found a great place to sit in the front so the kids were able to get candy from all the floats going by :) Boy, were they excited!

The Josephine County library has been closed for about a year now. They were giving away books from one of the floats. A new non-profit is being formed to get the library back open. They have to raise a huge amount of money before it will even be looked at - what a joke. The library sits full of books and computers and the doors are closed because of not enough money? I beg to differ.

We always enjoy the jet boat races every year. From our house, we can hear them race down the river. The neighbors always have a big lawn party.

The Budweiser Clydesdales were a delight to see this year! They came from the San Diego area. I guess they have about 10 different farms around the country for raising & training. The farm in Colorado is where they are trained to drive in harness.

Budweiser Clydesdales

The Budweiser Clydesdales came to town during the Boatnik Festival! They were really neat to see!
